Silent Auction Events

For the last four years, the Michigan Family Support Council conducted successful and very rewarding silent auction events at its Annual Fall Training Conference in Boyne Highlands. MFSC partnered with Camp Highfields and Whaley Childrens' Center to raise funds in support of Michigan families. For the 2008 MFSC Annual Fall Conference, the MFSC is partnering with Penrickton Center for Blind Children.

  • Penrickton Center is a private, non-profit five day residential and day care agency serving blind, multi-disabled children ages 1-12. Because no fees are ever charged to families, all financial support is raised from individuals, service clubs, corporations, and foundations. Most of the children stay throughout the week and all children return home to their families on weekends and holidays. Children under six participate in the day care program. In both cases an intense program of training and care is provided to help each child reach their potential.
  • Camp Highfields is a non-profit organization providing opportunities to children, youth, families and other individuals to become more responsible for their own lives and to strengthen their relationships with others.
  • Whaley Children’s Center is a private agency that has a tradition of caring for children and families in crisis. They provide a continuum of services to meet the social, emotional, ethical and academic needs of children and families.

Note: MFSC accepts MasterCard and Visa for silent auction purchases.
