Boyne Highlands - Harbor Springs, Michigan |
| PLENARY
SPEAKERS |
|
Plenary
sessions included:
- Sidney
C. Hurlbert, Dont Wait for the Happy Bus
to Come; It Might Not Stop Where You Are At: Every-time
we answer the phone or greet someone face-to-face we are knowingly
and unknowingly sending signals, which they use to decide who
we are, what we stand for, and how they think we deserve to be
treated. We can change how people view and treat us by applying
Sid's STEPS! Sid will show you how to Smile, Laugh, and Have Fun
with customers, fellow employees, and even those you live with!
- Craig
Tornquist,
No Smile Left Behind: Craig Tornquist has performed
more than 2,500 stand-up comedy shows across the country. Whether
he's inspiring adults, motivating students, or warming up concert
crowds for Jay Leno and Sinbad, Tornquist has consistently proven
Victor Borge's tenet that "Laughter is the shortest distance
between two people." In No Smile Left Behind! Tornquist will
challenge each of us to take a little time each day to see "See
Delight!"
- Justice
Maura Corrigan, Michigan Supreme Court
- First
Gentleman, Daniel Mulhern, State of Michigan
- Marilyn
Stephen, Michigan IV-D Director, Office of Child Support
